And when L.A found itself trailing by 18 early in the 3rd quarter with nobody on his team able to drill a shot, Kobe came into a zone nobody else has really experienced before.
He erupted for a staggering 55pts in the 2nd half, outscoring the entire Raptors team all by himself.
After scoring 30 of his team last 33pts, Kobe left the floor with a total of 81pts, the 2nd highest scoring performance ever.
Now for all the one who tried to downplay his heroics, I just say this: always have been bad teams in the league, always have been great players. Yet, only 2 players reached the 80pt mark in history. And Kobe is one of them.
Don't point the finger at Kobe cause he's Kobe. If it was Jordan, there would have been any critics vs him. No offense to MJ, but he has never been able to come into such a zone. P.E.R.I.O.D
