Porsche has unveiled the new 2012 Panamera GTS. A Grand Turismo Sport variant of the Panamera, the Panamera GTS comes with a modified 4.8 liter, naturally-aspirated V8 with an output of 430 PS (316 kW / 424 hp) and 520 Nm (383 lb-ft) of torque. Transmission is the Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) transmitting power to the all-wheel drive system (PTM). The GTS features the Sport Chrono package as standard which helps that power flow without interruption. This makes the Panamera GTS sprint to 100 km/h in under 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 288 km/h (179 mph). Fuel consumption is 10.9 liters/100 km - 10.7 with low roll-resistance tires. Also standard on the Panamera GTS is the adaptive air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with a tauter damping configuration for a sportier ride from this GTS. Wheels are 19-inch rims with tires sized 225/45/R19 at the front and 285/40/R19 at the back. The Panamera GTS goes on sale in February 2012 with prices starting at €116,716 in Germany.
